•   Ogilvy PRintroduces a new identity system to highlight our heritage and commitment to David Ogilvy.

•   Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwideacquires Deen+Black, the California firm with offices in Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

•   Ogilvy PR/Nairobiopens our first office on the African continent.

•   Ogilvy PR,through a joint venture with a local communications powerhouse, The Singleton Group, establishes the biggest PR operation in Australia, comprised of five specialist firms:

· Parker & Partners
· Savage & Horrigan
· Ethnic Communications
· Impact Employee Communications

•   Ogilvy PRis named 2001 Agency of the Year by both PR Week and the Holmes Report, winning a total of nine awards (the most of any PR firm) including Brand Development and Internal Communications Campaign of the Year for BP.
