New York, NY, September 18, 2002 — FORTUNE has named Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) as its public relations partner for the upcoming 2002 FORTUNE Global Forum to be held 11-13 November, 2002 in Washington, DC. This marks the fourth year of partnership between FORTUNE and Ogilvy PR, following the success of the Global Forums, held in Shanghai, Paris and Hong Kong respectively.
Ogilvy PR will provide support for FORTUNE’s New York based in-house communications team, focusing primarily on media outreach in the United States and, using Ogilvy PR’s global network, around the world. The Ogilvy PR team will also handle media relations activities at the conference site in Washington.
