New York, Oct. 19, 2005 — Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) today announced senior-level expansion of its growing corporate practice with two new hires, Executive Vice President Michael Hatcliffe who will head the agency’s U.S. Corporate Practice and Senior Vice President/Group Director of the Chicago corporate practice, Todd Hansen.
“These new hires represent Ogilvy PR’s continued growth across our U.S. corporate practice,” said Marcia Silverman, chief executive officer of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. “Individually, Michael and Todd bring a tremendous amount of experience and expertise to our organization. I am certain they both will be instrumental in driving the practice forward.”
Following extensive senior-level experience and counseling in both the U.K. and the U.S., Hatcliffe joins Ogilvy PR from Ketchum, where he served as head of its Midwest corporate practice and previously as director of the Chicago office. As executive vice president, Hatcliffe will provide strategic support for corporate clients across the Ogilvy PR network, with a concentration on aligning clients’ public relations campaigns with business outcomes. He will also lead new business and intellectual development. He will be based in the Chicago office.
