July 23, 2007 – Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has appointed Rachel Francis as Associate Director, in a new role within the Consumer Marketing division of Ogilvy PR in London. Rachel will help to oversee the current Consumer Marketing portfolio which includes a mix of high profile FMCG, tourism, health, beauty and children’s brands and also develop new business across the group.

Rachel brings nearly 10 years of public relations experience with a strong consumer focus across food and drink, technology, health, education, entertainment/leisure and charity sectors. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR; Rachel spent over three years at integrated agency working on FMCG brands such as Cathedral City, Clover, The Food Doctor and Total Greek Yoghurt. She has also worked on a number of retail accounts and was instrumental in re-positioning the Peacocks brand to make it one of the hottest value fashion clothing retailers on the UK high street. Peacocks was voted Drapers Value Fashion Retailer of the year in 2005.
