LONDON – 14th March 2013, Ogilvy Public Relations and the National Social Marketing Centre (NSMC) today announced a strategic partnership to further the integration of public sector and private sector behavioural and social marketing expertise into campaign strategies.
The NSMC will co-locate with Ogilvy Public Relations/London at the firm’s Canary Wharf office, with immediate effect.
The strategic partnership will allow Ogilvy Public Relations to offer NSMC's public sector expertise and best practices to Ogilvy's private sector clients. The NSMC will in turn be able to share Ogilvy's private sector marketing expertise with public sector clients. Under this agreement, Ogilvy PR staff will be trained by the NSMC to further the behavioural marketing expertise of its offices across the world, building on an existing, market-leading capability based in Ogilvy PR Washington (DC).
Through its global Social Marketing Practice, Ogilvy PR offers an extensive network of marketing and human behaviour experts dedicated to helping people lead healthier, safer, happier lives. The practice has decades of experience helping public and private sector clients tackle diverse social, health, safety, and environmental challenges. The NSMC is a globally recognised organisation, accredited by the Chartered institute of Marketing for social marketing training. It consults clients across Europe, the Middle-East and Asia, including governments and international organisations.
