Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide’s California Office Adds Two Clients

San Francisco, CA, May 6, 2002 — Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide today announced that it has added Electronic Evidence Discovery, Inc. (EED), the leading provider of digital discovery services to law firms and corporations worldwide, and Sengent, a leading provider of a software framework unifying Web services, to its California office. EED will be serviced by the office’s Corporate Practice and Sengent will be managed by the Alexander Ogilvy Technology Practice.

“Corporations accumulate millions and millions of digital files each month, and saving this data has multiple implications for these companies from a legal perspective,” said John Jessen, founder and chief executive officer of EED. “We’ve engaged Ogilvy PR to help us deliver the message of our automated solutions to the corporate audience. EED routinely helps corporations save time and reduce the expense of retaining electronic information.”

“We’ve followed the work Ogilvy PR has accomplished with clients such as Sun Microsystems and we wanted to seize the opportunity of working with a seasoned PR team who was ready to hit the ground running in multiple industry sectors,” said Douglas Nassaur, chief operating officer of Sengent. “We’re entering a critical phase at Sengent and growing across vertical markets. Ogilvy PR has the technology expertise we need to achieve our PR goals in key markets from education and finance to life sciences.”

“Despite the slowdown in today’s economic market, our client roster continues to grow across practices,” commented Kate Messenger, managing director of Ogilvy PR/San Francisco and Los Angeles. “The EED and Sengent wins allow us to apply our local corporate PR expertise and our deep experience in targeting vertical markets.”
