Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Announces Appointment of EAME Creative Director

Agency Enlists Jim Dowling to Take on Newly Created Position

London, August 20, 2007 – Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR), a leading global communications firm, announced the appointment of Jim Dowling to the newly created position of Creative Director, EAME.

In this role Jim will be responsible for driving creative brand building and delivering big ideas for clients across Ogilvy PR's network in Europe, Middle East and Africa, reporting directly to Martin Liptrot, Chief Executive, OPR EAME.  Jim will continue to play an active role in the Strategy + Planning Group, the network's senior strategy group that provides insight and creativity to global accounts.

Most recently, Jim served as Director of Strategy + Planning for Ogilvy PR in APAC, where he led initiatives on clients, and supported the development of award-winning work in China and Australia and worked with clients to create their communication plans for next year's Beijing Olympics.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Jim headed up pan-European campaigns for brands such as Nintendo, Reebok, Orange, Carling, Unilever and Evian at London agency, Cake.  He has overseen major product launches for Pokemon and Nintendo GameCube, pan-European events and served as the lead European PR strategist for Reebok in fashion and lifestyle PR.
