Fair Management Team Poised For Growth
Dr. Michael Mezzatesta will continue to parlay his background as curator, museum director and art scholar to guide the long-term strategic vision for the Palm Beach Fair. Previously, Dr. Mezzatesta served for seven years as curator of European Art at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth, Texas, before assuming the directorship of the Duke University Museum of Art. During his tenure as the Mary D.B.T. and James H. Semans Director at Duke University, Dr. Mezzatesta organized numerous national traveling exhibitions and oversaw the design of, and fundraising for, the $30 million Nasher Museum of Art designed by Rafael Vignoly. Before joining the Palm Beach Fair in 2006, Dr. Mezzatesta served as a visiting scholar at the American Academy of Rome.
