New York, N.Y., October 11, 2007 – Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR), a leading global communications firm, announced today that Patrick Simpson has joined the agency as Executive Vice President/ Director for the New York Consumer Marketing Group.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Simpson served as Senior Vice President of Consumer Brands for Edelman. During his tenure, he led campaigns for such clients as Apple, Nike, Samsung and most recently, Microsoft – Windows Vista.
Simpson received a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of London and a diploma in Marketing Operations and Promotional Practice from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
