A new paradigm for U.S.-Japan relations is evolving after the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The U.S.-Japan Council Annual Conference will bring together leading subject experts in fields identified as key areas of collaboration that will enable the U.S. and Japan to move forward together. It will also explore the unique role Japanese Americans play in U.S.-Japan relations. As Japan enters the rebuilding stage of the recovery process, the U.S. commitment to supporting Japan remains strong.
The theme of the 2011 Annual Conference is INNOVATE,EDUCATE,COLLABORATE: Moving Forward the U.S.-Japan Partnership and topics include Economic Collaboration, Education and Building the NPO/NGO Sector. All topics require innovative solutions and enhanced cooperation between the U.S. and Japan.
