Dr. Jennifer Scott provides counsel to organizations, corporations and governments on how to reach and engage audiences with authentic and relevant communications that are tuned to broader social, political and cultural dynamics. At Ogilvy, she leads a team of specialist researchers who deliver intelligence on emerging trends, identify the drivers of behaviors, attitudes and values, and generate original research findings for use in a wide variety of communications campaigns.

Over the past 20 years, Jennifer has applied research- driven strategy to enhance corporate reputation, manage crisis response, strengthen new and established brands, activate employee engagement, advocate for public policy initiatives, and inspire behavior change.

Jennifer has worked with clients - including the Government of Mexico, GE, DuPont, Pfizer, Kimberly- Clark, Unilever, American Express and Citizens Financial Group - to navigate challenging competitive environments, develop and refine reputation, and create compelling advertising and communications.

Jennifer has provided counsel on foreign and domestic public policy environments for clients including the Association of American Railroads, the American Chemistry Council, the College of American Pathologists, USAID in Russia and Romania, the Government of Norway and the Government of Greece.

She has also developed communications campaigns in support of public health and safety initiatives for the NIH, CDC, NKDEP and the World Bank, as well as employee engagement initiatives for DuPont, the American Red Cross and others.

Jennifer has worked on the branding and marketing of various consumer products and services for companies such as LG Electronics, Intel, Quintiles and Quaker, and on the development and evaluation of media products for the Disney Channel, Scholastic and PBS.

Before leading Ogilvy’s Research & Intelligence practice, Jennifer was MD of the New York office of Ogilvy PR, and prior to that she was Global MD for Strategy+Planning and Insights & Research at Ogilvy PR. Previously, she was President of Edelman Intelligence.

Jennifer received her B.A. in Politics and Psychology from the University of KwaZulu/Natal in South Africa. She has a Doctorate in Politics from the University of Oxford, England.
