Hong Kong, China, January 11, 2005 — Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) has appointed Christopher Graves as President, Asia Pacific. Graves will oversee and continue to expand Ogilvy PR’s regional network, which is widely recognized as a leader in terms of client base, professional talent, geographic coverage and award-winning work. Industry sources, such as PR Week, have ranked Ogilvy PR number one in Asia and the Holmes Report recently named Ogilvy PR its International Network of the Year.
Graves comes to Ogilvy PR from Dow Jones, where he has worked for the past 18 years. In total, he has worked 23 years in print, Internet and television media with experience on three continents in both editorial and leadership roles. After beginning his career as a producer with business news programs on ESPN, CNN and syndicated by Disney, Graves joined Dow Jones as founding producer and promoted to head of Wall Street Journal Television. Graves then became Vice President of News and Programming at both CNBC Asia and CNBC Europe, Managing Director of business development (Europe & Asia) for the online and interactive side of Dow Jones, and Managing Director of the Far Eastern Economic Review, where he programmed and managed such annual events as the Young Inventors Awards, Asian Innovation Awards and Review 200: Asia’s Leading Companies.
Graves is also highly regarded as a public speaker and moderator working with CEOs and heads of state at such events as the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Global Entrepolis@Singapore, Brandworld China, Internet World and 3G World Congress.

Matthew Anderson, who was named Chief Executive, Asia Pacific and EAME, in 2003, last held Graves’s role. Anderson, who is now based in London, is responsible for the network’s operations outside the Americas, reporting to global CEO, Marcia Silverman and the regional Ogilvy Chairmen.
