SYDNEY: May 22, 2012: Alex Kelly is returning to Ogilvy Public Relations after 10 years to become the consultancy’s first Head of Consumer Brands for its Melbourne office.
Kelly brings 12 years experience in below-the-line brand and reputation management for some of the world’s leading brands and corporate entities to Ogilvy PR. Her diverse experience spans an array of sectors including consumer technology, FMCG, banking and financial services, personal care, automobile, government and aviation.
Kelly rejoins Ogilvy PR after almost 10 years. Her last position with the firm was as an Account Director at Pulse (part of Ogilvy PR Australia) where she led a number of highly successful and award winning campaigns including the launch of the Xbox game franchise ‘Halo 2’, which was recognised globally by both Ogilvy PR and Microsoft as best in class.
Kelly joins Ogilvy PR from M&C Saatchi Melbourne. Prior to this, Kelly was General Manager of Edelman Worldwide Sydney where she was responsible for the direction and execution of client programs, strategy and business development. Prior to that, she spent five years with Weber Shandwick’s Sydney office.
