Ogilvy Public Relations Names Marcia Silverman to Worldwide Board

Ogilvy PR CEO to Join Ad Agency Board

New York, NY, September 19, 2002 — Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide Chairman and CEO, Shelly Lazarus, announced that Marcia Silverman, CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, has been elected to Ogilvy’s Worldwide Board.

A 20-year veteran of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Silverman has been instrumental to the company’s growth as a global company. Prior to being named CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in August 2002, Ms. Silverman was most recently Ogilvy PR’s President of the Americas. Before that, she headed Ogilvy PR’s office in Washington DC for 10 years, guiding it to unprecedented growth.
