New York Institute of Technology Auditorium
EVP and NY head of 360 Digital Influence Gemma Craven will present on a panel at this event.
Women outnumber men on most social sites, except for Digg/Reddit and Google Plus, and are now taking positions of leadership as professionals in a wide variety of fields that use social media. Hear the successes, challenges and lessons learned from some of New York’s most dynamic and diverse women social media professionals, today and then collaborate with a global audience to help create six action points to promote unsung women as social media professionals.
In a fast-paced format, following short presentations from an all-women panel of social media professionals and a Q&A period, the event will break into six groups that, in connection with a global audience via live stream and Twitter, will collaborate to write six action points to help recognize women leaders in professional practice of social media.
The event will have an important virtual component, a live stream that will allow a global audience to participate in real time. Social Media News NY will integrate and manage the virtual conversation at http://facebook.com/smnny
